Senior Strategic and Commercial Partnership Manager
A brand-new opportunity has arisen to join a much loved national children's charity to develop new commercial partnerships to fulfil their mission of improving and protecting the lives of thousands of children. The charity currently partners with many commercial organisations, many of which are household names. They are now wanting to branch further out within the retail or FMCG sector.
You will play a key role in maximising income from existing commercial supporters and through the development of new business ranging from £100k to over £million+. You will directly develop and manage relationships with new corporate supporters. This could be charity of the year or more strategic partnerships which enhance the mission and aims of the charity. You will also line manage one fundraiser who manages low level partners.
You will have sound emotional intelligence with the ability to story tell in order to influence people and companies. You will have experience of identifying, approaching, and securing corporate and high value partners - with a focus on those worth over £500k. You will have project management capabilities, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders across both the charity and partners. Your background can be within the charity and/ or commercial sector.
