Be part of the Development and Communications team raising philanthropic income to make it possible as we enter a new and exciting era to redevelop our outdoor space, expand digitisation and cement our position as a centre of excellence for scientific research.

We are looking for a driven and self-motivated individual to join the Advancement Operations team to:

• develop and implement a prospect research strategy to maximise the philanthropic potential of the existing prospect pool and identify new leads for our priority projects

• build and cultivate strong working relationships with fundraisers, events, communications and other internal teams.

Our team is new and growing so the role will be hands-on initially as you put in place the prospect research strategy and build the team by hiring a Research Executive.

To be successful in this role, you will be degree educated or equivalent and have experience of successfully identifying new leads/prospects for fundraisers with a high conversion rate. You will have developed and delivered a prospect research strategy with experience of developing or contributing to strategic fundraising and business planning processes. You will have good knowledge of information resources and publications such as Factiva, Factary Phi, Find Wealth etc. and the CRM Raiser’s Edge or similar.
