A charity who help those with a disability to live with confidence and provide emotional and practical support, are recruiting an Email Editor to join their Marketing and Fundraising team. You will support the development, delivery, tracking and optimisation of email marketing activity for the charity, continuously ensuring email, CRM and newsletter communications activity is evidence-driven and customer focused, providing the best possible ROI to support business goals.
-Manage day-to-day coordination and delivery of the email marketing programme, ensuring efficient process for scheduling, testing and deploying emails. This includes planning, editing and sending BAU emails as well as working on high profile email marketing campaigns.
-Ensure the email marketing programme meets our customers needs and KPIs based on customer research and insight, A-B testing, analytics, performance monitoring, benchmarking. This includes ensuring that we are delivering to our digital and content strategies and marketing priorities.
-Work closely with staff to ensure the delivery of a cohesive email marketing programme with effective and engaging content that integrates with other channels and supports the end-to-end customer journey.
-Ensure email content and templates are optimised for the variety of devices and email clients used by customers.
-Help manage our relationships with our email service providers and freelancers. This includes working with designers, developers and external agencies to create new and update existing email marketing templates.
-Work with design and digital leads in the team to innovate and improve our email experience; and ensure that our brand is consistent, digital landscape is joined up and our content is relevant and follows best practice.
-Work with our data and insight teams to ensure that email marketing data is recorded in the CRM system when and where appropriate.
-Write and edit engaging content (text, images, and HTML) for use in email marketing.
-Knowledge of what makes excellent, effective and engaging email content and campaigns.
-Experience of editing email content for a wide variety of audiences and communication purposes.
-Knowledge of HTML and of industry best practice in email marketing and email content.
-Experience of using an Email Service Provider, ideally Adestra
-Experience of designing, testing and delivering e-newsletters and email marketing campaigns for a large and complex organisation.
-Experience of working with data, analytics (including Google Analytics) and segmentation.
-Ability to influence, negotiate and liaise effectively with a wide range of colleagues in a large and complex organisation.
-Experience of effectively managing several projects simultaneously.
-Experience of taking responsibility for own actions and make decisions without referring to others.
