At Abbey Park, it's all about choice - from residents' selection of rooms to the range of activities and services available every day.

As well as 30 private rooms for people with dementia and dementia nursing care needs, Abbey Park has 24 self-contained care suites, each with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. These double-sized suites are suitable for couples, or individuals who enjoy the extra space.

But in addition to private time, there are plenty of other opportunities every day, and it all comes down to what the residents want to do. Abbey Park has its own minibus, and it's residents' own decision as to where they'd like to visit and explore - naturally! As an alternative to a bustling day out, you might enjoy peace and quiet in the home's sanctuary rooms, or its new sensory gardens, which have a seating area, water features and a bandstand for musical events.

You might borrow a book from the extensive library or make a visit to the essentials shop for toiletries, snacks and coffee. Not only that, but the home even has its own on-site hair and reflexology salon. Since Abbey Park also has its own reflexologist, the complementary therapy is very readily available to residents, and it's especially calming and beneficial for people with dementia.

Whatever you need and whatever you want, Abbey Park promotes physical and mental wellbeing for each individual.
