Position: Public Affairs Officer
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £28,495.81 to £31,743.41 per annum

About the Role:
They are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their small, but high-achieving Policy and Influencing team in London.
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, the Public Affairs Officer will be responsible for delivering the bulk of the organisation’s political engagement and wider public affairs work.
The Public Affairs Officer will identify, develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including MPs, Peers, clinicians, researchers and civil servants. You will provide political monitoring and analysis and will support other teams and senior colleagues to engage with stakeholders by providing briefings and advice.
You will have a strong track record of developing and delivering impactful Parliamentary engagement, as well as developing relationships across government departments and arm’s length bodies.
Your excellent communication skills make you a passionate expert, able to engage with a wide range of audiences to secure support for our cause. You will be experienced and knowledgeable in the workings of Parliament and Government and able to provide top quality advice to colleagues at all levels.
You may have experience of the following: Public Affairs Officer, Policy Officer, Public Affairs Executive, Policy, Public Affairs, PA Officer, PA Executive, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, NFP, Not for Profit etc.
