A fast-growing national cancer charity is recruiting a:
HEAD OF FINANCE
To provide a robust, efficient and timely financial management service to the charity
Full-time, permanent position (ie. 35 hours per week)
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent upon experience and qualifications
The Lymphoma Association is a national charity which provides information and support to people affected by lymphoma (lymphatic cancer) – the fifth most common cancer in the UK. We also work with and support the healthcare practitioners who care for lymphoma patients.
We are looking for the right person to head up our finance operation and be part of our senior management team during an exciting phase of growth with new plans and initiatives being launched in the areas of support services, publishing and education. The purpose of the role:
- To support the organisation’s financial strategy.
- To provide an effective, efficient and timely financial management service.
- To take lead responsibility for the preparation of the charity’s annual budgets and monthly financial reporting.
- To oversee the annual audit process and production of statutory accounts.
Applicants will possess a relevant professional qualification, have experience of working in a senior management role within a charitable or service delivery environment, and have strong knowledge of charity accounting requirements and of the charity SORP.
