St. Vincent’s Family Project is a registered Christian Vincentian charity (#1142095) supporting families in Westminster especially where there are difficulties. It addresses the issues of parenting, child welfare and social exclusion by providing services for parents and children. It works primarily amongst vulnerable families who are experiencing deprivation and the wider effects of poverty. It provides an experience of community which inspires, supports and enables positive change in the lives of those who use our services. It is non-proselyting, seeking to serve others.
St. Vincent’s Family Project was registered as a charity in 1996 by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul to meet the needs of families in the Victoria and Pimlico area.
In 2016 the Vincentian family of charities and Vincentian religious orders celebrated their 400-year anniversary of working with the poor and vulnerable, following St. Vincent de Paul’s and Sister Louise de Marillac’s examples of service and their values.
