About the Role

This is a really exciting time for Nordoff Robbins, the largest independent music therapy charity in the country, as they have just opened their newly refurbished, first of its kind for the UK - music therapy centre and the fundraising team work within this state of the art centre.

Corporate Partnerships Manager – (focused on new business) is a vital role in the Nordoff Robbins’ fundraising team, with the primary aim of significantly increasing our new business income. The charity’s corporate portfolio is going from strength to strength with partnerships with The O2, Ticketmaster and sponsorship from Jack Daniels, Amazon, Apple and many more. We are looking for an experienced new business fundraiser to truly accelerate our corporate offering and meet ambitious fundraising targets as part of our 2020 strategy. 

This is a hugely exciting role! The successful post-holder will be the strategic lead for all corporate fundraising activity, reporting to the Head of Fundraising and will be integral to achieving the ambitious growth targets for the organisation within the charity’s core supporters - the music industry, but also from outside the music industry.

You will be directly responsible for driving the team in prospecting, networking and delivering partnerships across high value strategic partnerships, charity of the year opportunities, sponsorship agreements, and cause related marketing campaigns.

The successful applicant will be line managing the Corporate Fundraising Assistant ensuring they are achieving both individual and team goals and supporting their ongoing professional development.

About You

You will have a minimum of 4 years corporate fundraising experience (or equivalent new business development experience), a track record of winning new corporate partnerships, be a strong relationship manager with a proactive approach in identifying, researching and cultivating new business opportunities. 

To be considered for this role you should have strong understanding of the Charity of the Year application process and expected deliverables for COY partnerships, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sponsorship and Cause Related Marketing.
