Female Duty Worker (Weekends)
The Marylebone Project is one of the largest women's hostels in the UK for vulnerable women affected by homelessness. They offer support to women with a range of complex needs, including substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic violence, and provide these support services in a warm, welcoming and secure environment. They are now recruiting for a Weekend Duty Worker, to contribute to the Duty Worker Team contributing 24-hour support and accommodation to all service users of the Project.
As a Duty Worker, you will work to ensure the smooth running of the Project at weekends, maintaining a warm and welcoming environment to all staff and service users. You will provide responsive support to service users that compliments the work of the Support Worker team, and will use internal systems to maintain effective and efficient communication. Overall, you will ensure that a high standard of customer service is upheld to all people.
To apply for this role, you must be educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and must have an integral understanding of the challenges faced by homeless people. You will have solid IT skills and excellent customer service skills, being able to remain calm and positive in crisis situations. Overall, you will be bright, engaging, and passionate about delivering a quality service to vulnerable people within a supported housing service.
This role will be to work 20 hours across a weekend, as directed by the project rote on a rolling basis.
