My client, a children's charity based in East London is looking to recruit an experienced Fundraising Administrator in to their busy team, on a temporary basis for the duration of around 6 weeks. The purpose of this role is to support with the effective running of a High Net Worth fundraising event. This role will also include administrative duties such as data entry, producing letters, emailing and phone calls to supporters amongst other general fundraising duties.
Duties include although not limited to:
-Ensure that all donors are thanked promptly and appropriately
-Take responsibility for own administration, including filing, adhering to existing systems as well as developing new ones as needed
-Respond to donations in a formal and timely manner, prioritising thank you letters and supporters over other work if necessary
-Handle a broad range of enquiries from supporters, by telephone, post and email
To be considered for this role you will have previous fundraising administration experience, ideally within the major donor arena. You will have knowledge and experience of increasing support from donors and experience of managing supporters. You will have experience using Raiser's Edge or a related fundraising database as well as professional experience with the full Microsoft package including excel.
