Chief Executive - Chance UK
Chance UK is an award-winning early intervention children's charity that provides mentoring for 5-11 year-olds with challenging behaviour. We use a solution-focused approach to grow a child’s strengths, build their self-esteem, and find positive alternatives to their challenging behaviour. We work with children at risk of educational exclusion and developing anti-social and/or criminal behaviour in adolescence and early adult life.
We are looking for a strategic and ambitious Chief Executive for Chance UK for our next stage of growth. Using our strong evidence base and reputation, the Chief Executive will review our future opportunities that will enable us to support more children whilst building on our strong reputation and broad reaching relationships. This will include determining our strategic vision, clarifying our business model and working with our dedicated team to support and empower them, whilst promoting the excellent outcomes of our work. The Chief Executive will also review income opportunities and secure new donors through relationship based approaches.
Our new Chief Executive will be driven and motivated by developing new opportunities and concepts that build on our success. With a track record of securing growth and providing inspirational leadership, you will be experienced at developing strategies and messages, including in an environment of change. You will also be a natural networker, adept at promoting an organisation’s value and securing financial support. Most importantly you will be inspired by the work of our staff and mentors and committed to support children at a crucial time in their development.
