Position: Media Officer
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – 1 year
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £32,326 actual per annum

About the role:

Have you got what it takes to build on our success so far? We are looking for a self-motivated and creative media officer to join our award-winning team. The successful candidate will work in our busy national office in central London, helping to build and maintain a positive regional media profile for us by promoting our fundraising events like Memory Walk.
You will play a key role, as part of the regional media team, in promoting and growing our mass participation fundraising events, like Memory Walk, through traditional and digital media.
You will possess a great news sense and a flair for placing engaging stories. You must have experience of working with the media, excellent communication skills, the ability to plan and deliver results and the desire to work in a fast-paced team committed to making a difference.
