King’s first campaign raised £44m. The second was projected to raise £500m and raised £600m. King’s is now getting ready for the third campaign.

Projects to fundraise for are highly varied, for the University and for King’s Health Partners, London hospitals including the Evelina Children’s Hospital, and range from life changing medical and health research, to world recognised ‘war studies’ to promote peace, to a new business school in Bush House. Prospects come from the UK and all over the world, giving you international experience.

As well as highly experienced peers to help you, a very healthy training budget, some of the largest gift opportunities in the sector and very generous employee benefits, King’s can offer positions at a variety of levels up to Senior Principal Gift Manager. We also have one position which will particularly focus on raising gifts through working with our US alumni, prospects and influencers, including travel to either the east or west coast approximately three times a year.

We are looking for both highly experienced Major Gift fundraisers and people with transferable skills who would like to move into this area of work.  We are particularly looking for experience of working with high or ultra high net worth individuals in a strong kpi/target driven environment, and a demonstrable self starting nature. Additional skills we are particularly looking for are highly developed emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, the awareness to work with people from all cultures,  and the abilty to assimilate and articulate interesting and varied projects to difference audiences.
