We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill the following vacancy.  Registered Care Manager – Home Care Services
Tooting, South West London
Salary range: Starting from £32,000 to £35,000
Job Status: Permanent

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong Home Care specific management skills and experience, while provide strong competent leadership to the Home Care and Respite Services Department, develop and expand the service and be able to proficiently manage and provide supervision to staff at all levels within the department. You will manage a team of up to five staff.

The successful candidate will be expected to control the allocated budget for the department, promote the service intelligently, and liaise effectively with Borough Council representatives and other purchasers of the Tooting Neighbourhood Centre’s Home Care Service, relatives and advocates of clients.

You will be expected to robustly apply best practices in line with the Care Act 2014, Well-being and Prevention principles, be aware of the intentions and features of the Mental Capacity regulations, comply with the Care Quality Commission standards, care planning, prudent and cost effective customer care delivery, the vigorous application of safeguarding adults and children disclosure issues.

Previous experience working with service users with diverse social, cultural needs and ethnic minority groups is essential.

The successful candidate must have proven experience working with Elderly clients in a home care management capacity, must possess NVQ level 4 or 5 or its equivalent. Candidate must possess good communication (verbal and written) and computer skills.
