Founded in 1348, Gonville & Caius is the fourth oldest and one of the largest colleges at the University of Cambridge.  It is renowned for its consistently high academic standards and has a long and happy tradition of being a friendly, stimulating and inclusive College with a strong sense of community.  The College excels in all areas with a powerful scientific tradition and has an enviable reputation in the humanities. Famous alumni include Francis Crick, David Frost, Milton Friedman and Stephen Hawking.
For over 650 years, the College has relied heavily on charitable giving from Caians and friends of the College to sustain its tradition of excellence and to ensure continued growth.  Its Development Office was formally established in 1994 and is one of the longest established and successful development offices within Cambridge.  It has a dynamic and expanding programme with ambitions to build on its recent success of having raised £30m in the last 5 years.
Caius now seeks a Deputy Director of Development who will work closely with the Director of Development to implement the Campaign strategy.  S/he will play a key role in identifying, cultivating and soliciting prospects at the five-figure gift level and will manage the College's legacy programme.  S/he will also be responsible for alumni communications.
