Did you know there are over 150 children on average diagnosed with cancer each year in the Yorkshire region? Do you want to be part of a team that can make a huge difference to lives of children and families affected by cancer in your area?

Candlelighters was formed more than 40 years ago. They support families facing children's cancer in Yorkshire and are involved with a range of different projects to help ordinary families who are facing extraordinary circumstances. Children's cancer doesn't just affect the child diagnosed, it affects their whole family and beyond. As Head of Income Development you will be responsible for all aspects of income generation including corporate, community, trusts and foundations and capital appeals. The role will be expected to develop new income streams to support the future work of the charity and ensure sustainability.

We are looking for an inspirational and driven leader, with a 'can do' attitude and collaborative management approach; you will be at the forefront of supporting the families of children with cancer. You will have experience at a management level in fundraising across a broad range of income streams. You will have experience of managing and growing a team. You will have an excellent track record of achievement and setting income targets as well as experience in planning and implementing operational plans and ideas. You will have the confidence, commercial awareness and creativity to be able to develop new ways to expand income streams and grow the team around you.

The role is a full time post however part time (30 hours) would be considered.
