Key Responsibilities:

* Work to build profitable, multi-year partnerships with corporate funders

* Build and secure prospects into impactful partners for both funding and unique services/expertise

* Account manage existing corporate supporters to ensure long term partnerships are secured

* Create tailored bids to potential corporate supporters, ensuring that you have researched the organisation well before approaching them

* Ensure accurate reporting of projects to funders

* Work with the wider corporate team to develop attractive and compelling proposals

* Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy

* Work on donor events as and when required

* Conduct appropriate research into corporate funders

* Liaise with staff across the organisation to ensure accurate reporting of projects and collaborative working to produce the most compelling cases for support


Person Specification:

* Experience of working in a fundraising team and increasing income from corporates

* Experience of 'making the ask' in a fundraising setting - either face to face or written

* An understanding of how corporates operate differently to charities

* Experience of account managing a portfolio of donors

* Ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met

* Be a results orientated individual with a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent research skills

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £31,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.
