Position: Courts Coordinator 
Location: Central Office in London, with regular travel to London based Courts 
Contract type: Permanent 
Salary: £22,000 per annum

About the role: 

As a Courts Coordinator, you will ensure the delivery and continued development of high quality, cost-effective and responsive services, grounded in their charitable mission, vision and values. 

You will be responsible for coordinating the development and running of our client's Families and Friends Court Service, which provides support, advice and guidance to families at court during the sentence of a family member. This role will focus on recruiting, training and supervising volunteers working in courts and ensuring there is sufficient volunteer coverage across courts in London. You will also expand and develop the service as a whole. 

About you: 

You will have experience of working with courts and knowledge of court processes and procedures. Experience of training or coaching individuals and/or groups and of managing volunteers is essential. Previous experience of working in a third sector organisation is necessary, preferably this will be in the criminal justice field. 

Experience, in risk management and safeguarding is essential, as is the ability to develop relationships with volunteers, clients and other stakeholders. For this role you will need to be required to travel frequently. 

The post is subject to a Satisfactory DBS check, pre-employment checks and Prison Security Clearance.
