Creative New Projects Manager 

An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic lifesaving charity in the UK. The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) operates the national Children’s Air Ambulance and the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Position: Creative New Projects Manager 
Location: Kegworth 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: Full time. 37.5 hours per week 
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus a contributory pension and other benefits.

The role: 
The successful candidate will help to diversify the charity and look at potential new initiatives, deliver a variety of trading diversification projects from concept to implementation within timescales and budgets. Exploring new locations and concepts for Charity Retail Outlets. Creating detailed business plans which identify sequences off activities needed to successfully complete each project, including managing refurbishing existing retail outlets and identifying new suitable locations. The roles diversity holds no boundaries. 

About you: 
You will have proven experience of managing a multitude of complex and demanding projects with conflicting priorities from concept to implementation. Strong organisational skills, you will have knowledge of project planning processes, techniques and tools. With strong commercial acumen, you will be an effective communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Excellent IT skills are essential, as are strong negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills. 

Educated to degree level or equivalent, and have a relevant Project Management qualification. An understanding of best practice methodologies i.e. lean thinking, PRINCE2 etc, would be advantageous, as would knowledge and experience of the Retail and Charity Sector, and a genuine interest in working for this charity. 

You must be willing to travel and have a full UK driving licence with the use of a car. 

You may have experience of the following: Project Property Manager, Charity, New Venture Projects Manager, Not For Profit, Retail, New Business, Third Sector, etc.
