This organisation is a medium sized social welfare charity.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of trust funders and organise integrated stewardship plans for each trust

* Ensure accurate reporting to funders

* Build persuasive appeals to champion cases for support of this organisations work

* Write tailored applications to large funding bodies and ensure that both the needs of the charity and those of the funder and well matched

* Ensure that a smooth stewardship plan is in place with trusts and organise regular project updates to report back to the trust

* Liaise with colleagues internally across operations and fundraising to ensure that the funding needs are being conveyed to the wider team

* Research information on specific trusts to produce tailored applications

* Line manage a small team

* Organise recruitment of new staff where necessary

* Manage the workload of the whole team to ensure that deadlines are being met

* Evaluate own performance and continually strive for improvement


Person Specification:

* Excellent research skills

* Experience of working as a trust fundraiser

* Evidence of writing and securing successful trust bids

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met

* Line management experience

* Be a results orientated individual

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £35,000 - £41,000, depending on experience.
