Harris Hill is working with a Christian charity to recruit a Strategic Partner Advisor to introduce new Strategic Partners (Philanthropists) to the brand and mission of the charity

This a full time permanent role but could be offered on a 4 day week for the right candidate

The successful applicant will be part of the Fundraising team and will manage a portfolio of 30 50 prospects. You will be tasked with connecting Strategic Partners to the relevant staff within the organisation, laying the foundation for giving by engaging them to the charity's mission, building relationships and creating and spotting opportunities to match potential supporters with tangible projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

Developing a strong understanding of the vision of the charity in order to be able to communicate these to prospects in a way that matches their interests and aspirations.

Working with the Development team and the Research function to identify a prospects pool and their potential to support the cause

Creating approach plans tailored to each prospect and executing these plans on a timely basis

Assisting in organising small prospect and cultivation events, using these to network and recruit further Strategic Partners

Attending onsite special events to introduce prospects to relevant staff

Database management on a regular basis to reflect portfolio activity

This role requires a spiritual manner in order to work with Strategic Partners according to the core values and vision of the charity

Skills and Experience required:

Faith and calling to the Christian message

Strong relationship building skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a variety of personalities with a tailored approach

Experience of major donor work or of managing a portfolio of high-level clients

Time management and prioritisation skills with ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

Highly self-motivated and independent with flexible and humble attitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Educated to degree level or equivalent
