An exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join this social welfare charity.

The Role
Lead on and co-ordinate input and responses for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs), Invitations to Tender (ITT), grant applications and tender presentations.
Produce persuasive copy that answers commissioners questions while capturing and communicating Refuges strategies, values and unique selling points.
Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts across the organisation in order to co-ordinate input from colleagues during all stages of the bidding process
Develop storyboards within the wider bid team to develop coherent and tailored responses.
Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Business Development Manager against agreed deadlines.
Maintain and improve the bid library and share new bid content with the development team.
Apply commissioner bid feedback to future responses to drive continuous improvement.

The Candidate
Successful track record in generating income through writing competitive bids.
Experience of working with colleagues across departments to develop service proposals and set budgets.
Experience of working with a broad range of professionals at all levels.
Ability to write well-structured and compelling copy to the highest standard.
An understanding of the commissioning environment in government and local authorities.
Excellent interpersonal skills ability to develop effective working relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally.
Ability to analyse complex tender documents in order to understand commissioner needs and translate into a coherent service offer.
Understand and interpret financial and budgetary information.
