Your role will involve building the capacity of our local volunteer networks so they have the necessary skills and numbers to plan, manage and deliver a range of vital activities and services that respond to local need.  As the key point of contact for our volunteer groups, you must be able to support and guide our volunteers to enable more people affected by MS to benefit from their activities.

As a Local Networks Officer, you will need excellent interpersonal skills, you will be proactive and highly motivated and have the ability to engage, inspire, motivate and guide our teams of volunteers. Using your strong influencing and negotiation skills you will build strong partnerships and be able to lead people through a process of change.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of working with teams of volunteers involved in planning, managing and delivering services.  This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team at an exciting time in the development of the charity.

We offer 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) a 35 hour working week, travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

As this role covers a large geographical area you will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
