Diversity Role Models actively seeks to prevent homophobic, biphobic and transphobic bullying in UK schools. We stop bullying before it happens by educating young people about difference, challenging stereotypes and addressing the misuse of language. Our workshops feature positive LGBT role models who speak directly to young people about their experiences. To date we've worked with over 220 schools and reached over 49,000 young people across the UK.

This is an outstanding opportunity to have a profound impact on a small charity with big aspirations. Founded in 2011, we are a highly ambitious charity whose reach has grown significantly in recent years.  We are now looking for a dynamic Chief Executive to build on our achievements and ensure we continue to effectively tackle bullying and create equal opportunities for all young people. 

The successful candidate will have proven experience of strategic leadership in an organisation where income generation and profile raising are key features.  With strong commercial acumen and the skills and tenacity to drive growth, you will be experienced at maintaining and developing strong external partnerships and be able to build relationships with schools, corporate partners, local authorities, youth organisations and young people.

Critical to your success will be your ability to provide solid, sensitive and stable leadership and your track record in growing income. You will be an inspirational leader with outstanding influencing and ambassadorial skills. It should go without saying that you also have a genuine passion and empathy for our cause and vision.
