Our client, a national disability charity, is currently recruiting for Support Workers in, Hampshire.

The Charity provides support for more than 600 people with learning disabilities so they can live independent lives. Since they started in 1962, they have grown to over 800 permanent employees and 100 bank staff, all working to improve the lives of individuals across their 70 services within the UK. 

You will join their team of dedicated staff and provide tailored support to their Service Users both in the service and in the community. This fantastic Registered Care service, located in the peaceful village of Liss, boasts endless views of the South Downs National Park with a lovely garden looking over the countryside.
They are looking to recruit passionate and caring support workers to join their team on a Full Time (37.5hpw) or Part Time (no less than 15hpw) basis. Successful applicants must be flexible, however typical shifts at this service are:
Early shift 7am-14:30pm, Late shift 12:30pm – 21:30pm & 14:00pm – 21:30pm. Some weekend working is required of all role as well as occasional sleep in's (Enhanced pay).
As a support worker you will support people in the service and in the community to live the life they choose. You will promote independent living skills by assisting individuals to make decisions, enjoy their hobbies like swimming, getting involved in the community as well as helping with personal care and staying healthy. Previous experience in this type of role is not essential as full training will be given, they do however ask that you are a driver so you can use this skill to help transform more lives!
