Corporate Fundraising Officer
Alder Hey is one of the pioneering centres for children’s health and the busiest children’s hospital in the UK. Its vision is to be recognised as one of the leading children’s healthcare providers in the world by 2020.
To help achieve this vision the new Alder Hey in the Park hospital opened in October 2015 supported by £22 million raised by Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
Due to relocation Alder Hey Children’s Charity is seeking to appoint a Corporate Fundraising Officer.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Corporate & Major Giving to ensure the efficient implementation of the Corporate & Major Giving Fundraising Strategy. The Post holder will take responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective and efficient support procedures for the Corporate function. The post holder is expected to foster excellent working relationships with all members of the charity team, donors – existing and potential, and hospital staff.
You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the charity sector and the challenges they face. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate others and build strong relationships. With an eye for detail, you will play a key role in supporting Alder Hey Charity. The role will be based at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool.
