Our client, a membership-based voluntary organisation covering Berks, Bucks and Oxon, manages 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.

Membership Marketing Manager 
Salary: £29,000 to £32,000
Contract: Permanent
Based: Head Office, Littlemore, Oxford

Membership is vital to their mission to protect local wildlife. The Membership Marketing Manager will work on recruiting new members through a variety of direct marketing techniques as well as increasing loyalty and support from existing ones.

On the recruitment side you will work with external agencies to recruit new members through face to face and telemarketing, run an in house door to door team and test different direct marketing approaches to identify new approaches for the Trust.

Building membership loyalty will involve working as part of the broader Marketing team to improve retention through data analysis and developing effective communication, fundraising and retention tools.

You will need to have:

  • Experience of fundraising or sales/marketing
  • A good understanding of direct marketing techniques
  • Experience of working with agencies to deliver key result areas
  • A proven manager of people and projects
  • A track record of working to targets

This post will manage their supporters’ office and their in-house door-to-door team coordinator.
