ABC Trust

The Action for Brazil’s Children Trust (ABC Trust) is dedicated to helping street children and the most vulnerable young people of Brazil. By raising awareness and funding we support the work of local, community-led organisations which give children the education, support and inspiration that they need to transform their own lives.

Fundraising Manager

We are at a very dynamic time in our development that means this is an excellent opportunity for the right person. The profile of Brazil in the UK will dramatically increase over the next few years not least because of the increasing economic success and self-confidence of Brazil, but also because increasing numbers of people are traveling to and discovering Brazil – even more so as Brazil prepares to host the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and Rio de Janeiro prepares to host the Olympics in 2016.

Over the last two years we have secured increasing Trust and Foundation income and have initiated a range of new partnerships and fundraising events including the Big City Sleep and A Forca da Rua. We have also run high profile events in London with ABC Patrons Bebel Gilberto and Fernando Meirelles. More recently the ABC Trust has taken a leading role as a joint venture partner in the Street Child World Cup that we will be hosting in Brazil in 2014. We are also currently in the process of establishing ABC Brazil with an office base in Rio de Janeiro.

We are now seeking a Fundraising Manager – a key role within the small team that makes up the ABC Trust. We are looking for someone who possesses a wide range of fundraising and communications skills, with proven success in either trust, events or corporate fundraising, with the ability to learn quickly and grow within the role. You will manage a growing fundraising team and have the right personal qualities to fit into a strong, supportive and ambitious charity.
