Are you keen to make your mark building new systems and testing out new activities to encourage individuals to give to Gingerbread? Then we want to hear from you.

Gingerbread is the national charity which provides expert advice, practical support and campaigns to improve the lives of all single parent families. We have a growing membership of currently 35,000 single parents, 250,000 unique visitors to our website each year and we are planning new campaigns to mobilise individuals and make the voices of single parents heard. Our work has never been more important, and at this time, we need a capable and ambitious Individual Giving Manager to help us galvanise support and raise much needed funds for Gingerbread.

The Role
The postholder will be responsible for establishing a successful and sustainable individual giving programme to deliver significant growth in income from individuals - with emphasis on regular giving, high value and major giving, and legacy marketing.

As a member of the Fundraising and Supporter Relations department the postholder will contribute towards the goal of increasing the level of financial support into the charity so that we can grow more effective in championing the voices and needs of single parents and providing vital support services.

The Person
The successful candidate will have a track record of fundraising from individuals, with substantial experience in at least one of three priority areas – regular giving, high value and major giving, and legacy marketing. S/he will also have the skills to contribute towards the fundraising strategy and will be an experienced and inspirational people manager, with the ability to motivate others to give to Gingerbread.
