Do you have the skills and experience to develop strong partnerships with a wide range of organisational funders? Are you keen to make your mark refreshing systems and revitalising relationships? Do you have the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure funding and sponsorship for Gingerbread? Then we want to hear from you.

Gingerbread is the national charity which provides expert advice, practical support and campaigns to improve the lives of all single parent families. We have an excellent track record of developing partnerships with statutory funders and key corporates with scope to do so much more. Our work has never been more important, and at this time, we need a capable and ambitious organisational fundraiser to help Gingerbread grow by maximising income from trusts, corporates, Big Lottery, trade union and statutory sources.

The Role
The postholder will be responsible for growing income into Gingerbread from organisational funders, principally trusts, corporates, trade unions and the Big Lottery.

As a member of the Fundraising and Supporter Relations department the postholder will contribute towards the goal of increasing the level of financial support into the charity so that we can grow more effective in championing the voices and needs of single parents and providing vital support services.

The Person
The successful candidate will have a track record of fundraising from organisations, with substantial experience in more than one of the following four priority areas – trusts, corporates, trade unions and the Big Lottery. S/he will also have the skills to contribute towards the fundraising strategy and will be an experienced and inspirational people manager with the ability to motivate others to give to Gingerbread.
