WSPA’s vision is of a world where animal welfare matters, and animal cruelty has ended. Our aim is to put forward the wider case for animal welfare, its relevance to key issues such as climate change, public health and poverty relief, and the people, families and communities around the world who depend on animals for their livelihoods and well-being.

With consultative status at the United Nations and the Council of Europe, WSPA is the world’s largest alliance of animal welfare societies, and brings together people and organisations throughout the world to challenge global animal welfare issues. We have a unique perspective, connecting animal welfare and international development, and are pragmatic and focused on delivering sustainable solutions.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we plan to increase our turnover significantly in the next three years and are seeking to appoint this new senior position to our International Fundraising Team to focus on the strategic development of our major donor and corporate income streams, including developing our fundraising programmes in new markets.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, with the scope to make a difference at a global level.

You will need to be a strategic thinker with senior level experience in major gift and partnership giving programmes (high net-worth individuals, corporates or both) with a proven track record of success.

With experience, preferably gained in an international organisation, you will bring the skills to design and implement an effective strategy to increase income and motivate our growing fundraising teams across the world.

Energetic and driven, you will need charisma and excellent communication skills to influence and build effective relationships at every level.
