About Arthritis Research UK

Arthritis is the biggest cause of pain and disability in the UK – more than one in six people of all ages suffer from it. For the past 75 years, Arthritis Research UK has been striving to do something about the devastating impact of arthritis on so many lives. It is the only charity in Britain solely dedicated to funding research into arthritis in all its forms and it is also the largest charitable funder of arthritis research in Europe.

Arthritis Research UK depends entirely on public support and the generosity of its donors.  Approximately three quarters of the charity’s funding comes from legacy income and its intellectual property rights. A key goal for the fundraising team is to successfully diversify the income streams of the charity and reduce its reliance on these two sources of income.

The last four years have seen dramatic growth and organisational transformation into an efficient modern charity with an aspirational vision.  An ambitious fundraising strategy to 2016 was launched in April 2013 which requires a significant growth from across its fundraising portfolio.  Following a restructure we are now looking to recruit to several positions across the fundraising team.

If you want to be part of a growing and ambitious team and help Arthritis Research UK reach its goals then we want to hear from you.
