The aim of the FSI is to ensure that small charities are efficient, effective, accountable and self-sustainable. To achieve this the FSI provides small charities, right across the UK, with one to one support, a wide range of learning opportunities, resources and advice.

Values

The values of the FSI are empathy; respect; energy; excellence; persistence and a sense of the possible. These values guide all we do for our beneficiaries but they also guide how the FSI behaves as a responsible employer.

Strategies

1. Facilitate our members to thrive ensuring that our services are easily accessible to all our small charity members.

2. Build skills and knowledge across the Small Charity Sector by offering a blended range of learning opportunities both face to face and on-line across a broad range of topics

3. Work collaboratively with Sector Partners contributing to improving support and service given to smaller charities in the UK and to contribute to a collective voice to influence locally and nationally on their behalf

4. Ensure that the FSI is efficient, open and transparent, accountable and sustainable charity.
