The Art Fund is the UK's national fundraising charity for art, helping museums and galleries buy, show and share great works of art and campaigning on behalf of museums and their visitors. We receive no government funding, but instead raise our money by mobilising the passions and resources of art lovers across the UK. Last April we announced our commitment to do more – increasing the amount we give away by 50% by 2014. At the same time we launched the National Art Pass, which has since brought a 15% increase in our membership to over 90,000 people
