About Limbless Association
We are a registered charity that has been supporting amputees for over 35 years. We aim to support amputees, pre and post-amputation, to navigate the associated complexities with advice, information and signposting to empower individuals and their families to optimise their recovery and rehabilitation.
We provide support through;
- a helpdesk, offering assistance with a wide range of matters and support to access the relevant services and resources,
- Peer support, this vital service is expanding and supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. Our volunteers are all amputees who understand the challenges in the early days, weeks and months of limb loss.
- Support and Connect Hubs which are currently running in Essex, Manchester, Bristol and Hull with more planned across the UK.
- Access to expert legal advice
