WELCOME TO YORKSHIRE CANCER RESEARCH

Happy Yorkshire Day - Here for you. Here for Yorkshire.

"Yorkshire Cancer Research is the largest independent regional cancer charity in England"

About Us

Yorkshire Cancer Research exists so more people can live longer healthier lives, free of cancer. Thanks to the kindness of supporters, the charity has been funding cancer research and saving lives since 1925. Our aim is for more people to survive cancer each year. Every week in Yorkshire almost 600 people are told they have cancer, by working for Yorkshire Cancer Research you are helping to protect and save these lives.

Yorkshire is big, beautiful, and diverse and, as an inclusive employer, our aim is that our workforce reflects the rich diversity of our region. We believe a diverse workforce is central to us achieving our strategic goal of saving more lives in our region. We offer equal opportunities regardless of race, religion or belief, age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, marriage, and civil partnerships.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is entering an exciting period in its development. The charity is expanding and funding more research than ever before.  An exciting opportunity to join the team for a year has arisen as we are looking for a Head of Policy and Cancer Insight as a Maternity Cover post to support our Research, Services and Policy team.
