Third Sector Jobs to offer both paid and volunteer roles on one platform
Starting from 1st June 2023, Third Sector Volunteering jobsite is closing down and being integrated with Third Sector Jobs. Here are the important things to keep in mind ahead of this change:
- You can start uploading your volunteering roles on Third Sector Jobs on 23rd May 2023. All volunteering roles on the site can be found here.
- As on 25th May 2023, you will be unable to upload new Volunteering roles on Third Sector Volunteering.
Your Third Sector Volunteering account will be permanently closed
From 1st June 2023, clients and candidates will no longer have access to the Volunteering website, and their old account data will be deleted. Clients will lose their current job postings and past data stored in their accounts, and candidates will lose their stored CV, history of applications and other stored data on Third Sector Volunteering. Yet, applications sent up to 31st May 2023 will still be received by employers.
Set up your account here
To ensure you don't miss out, it is recommended that both candidates and clients create a new account on Third Sector Jobs. The account setup process is fast and easy and it will facilitate a more effective connection between volunteers and charitable organisations, thereby streamlining the process.
Candidates: Your new job seeking journey
Third Sector Jobs is making it easier than ever for jobseekers to explore both paid and volunteering opportunities in the sector by merging both the jobsites. The website allows users to search for their favourite employers and discover new ones all in one place. With job alerts for specific keywords and job titles, users can receive updates whenever their desired opportunities become available. These can be set up for both paid or unpaid roles in the sector. This gives them a chance to be early applicants.
Just like Third Sector Volunteering, creating an account on Third Sector Jobs is easy and straightforward. You can provide your details and upload your CV to make it easier for recruiters to find you. You can also receive weekly emails with the latest paid roles in the sector, and you can choose to unsubscribe at any time.
Clients: A bigger and better candidate pool
Third Sector Volunteering only had 4,511 registered jobseekers, while Third Sector Jobs has a significantly larger pool of 302,221 registered candidates. On Third Sector Jobs, your job listings will receive greater exposure and visibility. Additionally, the advanced tagging system allows you to tag your listings with specific functions and sectors, ensuring that they appear in more targeted searches.
To get started with Third Sector Jobs, the first step is to create an account. Once you have registered, you can then choose the Third Sector Volunteering product on the recruiter site to upload your volunteering vacancies for free, just as you have done on Third Sector Volunteering.
If you want to increase the visibility of your job adverts on the jobsite, you can choose to upgrade them for a small fee. The cost for this upgrade is never more than £100 per vacancy, so you can rest assured that you are getting excellent value for money.
If you have trouble while creating an account or posting your vacancy, then this may be due to an already existing account on Third Sector Jobs. Email us at hbm.recruitment@haymarket.com about these issues.
You can also upload paid job vacancies by choosing our other product offering on the recruiter services site. If you would like to get an overview or discuss any specific requirements, reach out to us on tel: +44 (0)20 8267 4693.
