Marianne Pattison

Marianne Pattison from TPP Recruitment says fundraising salaries have remained roughly static over the past year

Commenting on the salary survey, Marianne Pattison, Consultant, TPP Fundraising & Development, said:

“Salaries have remained roughly static over the past year. There has been fierce demand for major donor and corporate fundraisers in recent years, as charities have focussed on bringing in high value donations. As these new posts have been filled, the volume of these vacancies has dropped off and there are more candidates available, resulting in less pressure on salaries.

“Instead, areas such as direct marketing and community fundraising, which have traditionally received lower salaries, have become candidate short this year, which could potentially begin to even out the gaps in salary between income streams.”
