As a Marketing Manager in Macmillan’s National Events Marketing team, you will be accountable for a varied portfolio of  new products across the acquisition and development mix targeting a range of priority audiences for Macmillan. 

Your area of focus will be leading on new product development working closely with our innovation, research and insight teams as well as external agencies to develop, test, launch and optimise new products of varying scale in market.  You will be leading the creative development, supporter journey planning, testing approach and in year marketing strategy for these priority audience products – developing multi channel marketing campaigns, retention strategies and evaluation to inform each product's evolution.

The National Events Marketing portfolio includes our long standing mass participation products such as World's Biggest Coffee Morning, Go Sober for October and Longest Day Golf Challenge as well as our newer product launches such as Whodunnit? and Brave the Shave. The team has seen incredible growth in the past few years and we are keen to build on this success through new product development.

Your role will be hugely varied and allow you to utilise your response marketing skills across multiple audience segments and  channels (particularly digital marketing).  You’ll manage external creative, media and production agencies, as well as complex cross organisational relationships. To do this, you’ll be a skilled negotiator, collaborator and someone who works well under pressure and is very creative.
