At the British Heart Foundation (BHF), we fight for every heartbeat, everywhere. In the last year alone, we’ve invested more than £100m in hundreds of life saving research projects across the UK.

About the role

The role of Creative Designer is critical in supporting the strong BHF brand strategy and our fight against cardiovascular disease by funding lifesaving research. Thinking conceptually to interrogate briefs and get beneath the surface of projects and audience needs, you’ll balance creativity with pragmatism to deliver creative that makes our audiences sit up and take notice.

We are recruiting two Creative Designers to develop creative across all communication channels including digital, social and print, working with colleagues around the charity on a variety of projects. This will involve building relationships both internally and externally, working to tight deadlines and ensuring all your work is delivered to the highest standards.

About you

You’ll act as an ambassador for the Creative Studio within the organisation and working alongside the Creative Operations Manager you will help to educate colleagues on briefing design and staying on brand, through presentations and workshops.

With previous experience of working with a strong commercial brand or large charity you will have knowledge of the wider design industry and current creative trends.

With excellent attention to detail and organisation skills you will be able to work within timeframes. You’ll have knowledge of Mac and Adobe Creative Suite as well as UI design experience and understanding of UX discipline.
