The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the biggest funder of cardiovascular (CVD) research in the UK investing £100million each year. Since the BHF was established in 1961 the annual number of CVD deaths in the UK has fallen by half. Join us to continue fundraising for our life-saving research.

Community Fundraising is cause-driven  and at the forefront of our fundraising campaigns. With an established world class Programmes Team we plan to significantly grow our income to £18million by 2021.

Role summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead and manage our head office and field based programme development and delivery team, which has responsibility for ensuring the delivery of Community Fundraising's key strategic programmes through our Regional Fundraising teams that are based across the UK.  Your team will lead on Community Fundraising marketing, product development and the planning of supporter journeys at a UK level. 
 
Skills & experience


With a track record of successfully managing multiple fundraising and marketing programmes, including the planning, implementation and evaluation, you will also have experience of managing expenditure budgets and have a high level of financial management and analytical skills to review data.

You’ll be an outstanding leader and have excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills, being able to motivate and inspire the team and supporters.  A team player you’ll be supportive of colleagues and willing to work collaboratively for the greater good of the charity
