Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer. For over 50 years our work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments that are changing the fight against heart disease. But so many people still need our help. Join our workforce. Join our fight.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has a Planning & Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to ensure we are equipped to deliver our strategic and operational plans and maximise the impact of our charitable work. We are looking for a self-motivated individual to be responsible for providing expert independent knowledge and advice in the use of project management processes, governance, templates and tools. You will be willing to take innovative approaches and combine energy and enthusiasm with the tenacity and drive to see things through.

You will have strong self-management and organisation skills and be able to demonstrate experience of working with senior managers and a wide variety of stakeholder groups and experience of successfully managing projects including financials in large organisations – retail; charitable and /or support functions.

A PRINCE2 Practitioner or have equivalent project management training with a proven track record of project delivery you will need to think creatively but systematically. You'll be able to make evidence-based judgments, but also be willing to take flexible and innovative approaches. You'll combine energy and enthusiasm with the tenacity and drive to see things through and have strong communication, self-management and organisation skills.
