Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a national disability charity. They are searching for a Community Fundraising Manager -North of England (home based) to join their team. This will be 12 months FTC.

  • You will lead on the implementation and delivery on the community fundraising strategy in order to generate net income and to further grow the portfolio to become a dependable source of income for the charity.
  • You will identify and build long term relationships with key regional contacts, local businesses, organisations and individuals to encourage financial and long term support for the charity within the region.
  • You will lead on the recruitment and development of volunteering networks encouraging them to generate income locally and support regional activities and initiatives.
  • You will lead on researching and securing local charity of the year opportunities, maximising these to generate income and develop potential national opportunities.
  • You will ensure all community supporters are given the highest level of customer care and that all enquiries and requests for support are responded to quickly and effectively.



To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience in a community fundraising environment, sales, supporter care or admin
  • Experience of managing multiple priorities simultaneously while still providing the highest level of customer care to all supporters
  • Extensive experience of building successful internal and external relationships
  • Proven excellent organisational skills that have and will ensure all aspect of community fundraising activities are planned, implemented and completed to the highest of standards within agreed time frames
  • Experience of financial budgeting and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to keep clear and accurate records, producing reports and analysis and presenting them in an effective way to stakeholders and Head of team
  • Self motivated and supportive to other team members
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage a complex workload and meet conflicting deadlines
  • Creative, and can generate new and innovative ways to fundraise, with a strong desire to succeed

Salary: £31,976 per annum plus car mileage cover
