Our client opened the world’s first safe house for women and children fleeing domestic violence in Chiswick, West London in 1971. Since then the charity has grown to become the country’s largest single provider of specialist domestic violence services. On any given day, its national network of services supports over 6,000 women and children. Committed to a world where domestic violence is not tolerated and where women and children can live in safety, our client aims to empower women and children rebuild their lives, free from violence and fear.

About the role:

If you are an ambitious, passionate about customer service and have high standards of delivery this may be the role for you. We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive human resources administrator to join a small but busy team and support in the delivery of a high quality service to the organisation. This is a great opportunity for someone who wishes to develop a career in human resources.

The role of an HR administrator is a broad and varied position. Your duties will include managing the administrative support around a wide range of recruitment and learning and development opportunities processes, maintaining effective record keeping and filing systems and providing support with employment relations cases by preparing and supporting paperwork, generating correspondence and taking meeting minutes.

About you:

The successful candidate will have administrative experience gained in a complex and multi-site organisation, together with previous experience of working with application tracking systems and maintaining an HR database. In addition you will have intermediate level IT skills, with a good standard of communication, strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will be able to work to deadlines and carry out a range of tasks effectively. Ideally you will have a CIPD qualification or be working towards one.
