Do you have a strong facilities background? Would you like to work for social entrepreneurial charity?
Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading supporter of social entrepreneurs in the UK, as they search for their new Facilities Coordinator. The purpose of the role will require you to play a key part in ensuring the safety of all staff including remote workers by providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Duties include:
- Co-ordinate the provisions of the charity's office facilities and infrastructure for their three hubs in London, Birmingham and Bradford
- Provide light repairs and maintenance to the building fabric and fixtures. Procure and manage 3rd party providers and contractors, ensuring facility services are delivered to high standards,
- Liaise with the landlords and property legal services to review the building leases, general maintenance, utilities, landline phones, photocopiers, office security and ordering office furniture
- Take responsibility for delivering facilities functions including all routine health and safety checks, preventative routine maintenance and general upkeep of the building, the working environment, utilities, waste disposal and building security
- Primary key holder for the London office and be available for out-of-hours calls out in the event of an emergency
- Provide reception cover at the London office as of when required. This includes answering overflow calls, greeting guests and ensure the reception is covered over the lunch period
- Create and update policies and procedures focussing on Health and Safety
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable facilities experience, ideally within the charity sector however sector experience is not essential. The suitable candidate will experience of defining business requirements, managing and delivering organisational wide facilities project. You will have the ability to manage a project from start to finish and previous experience of coordinating internal office moves and relocations. You will be IT savvy, especially with MS Office applications, email and website. To apply, please submit your CV in Word format, cover letters are not required at this stage.
