Our client is seeking an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join their management team as a Stroke Support Manager.

They are continually working to improve the lives of stroke survivors and their families who deserve the very best treatment and care. They also fund research to find better treatments, campaign for better stroke care and help people understand how to spot and prevent stroke. Position: Stroke Support Manager

Location: Office based in Salisbury or home-based, with required travel within Dorset, Wiltshire, Swindon and other areas of the South Zone
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: circa £26,000 per annum

Reporting to the Head of Support, the Stroke Support Manager will oversee a diverse team of coordinators ensuring the teams are delivering high quality support to stroke survivors and carers.

As Stroke Support Manager you’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, a track record of working in a proactive and flexible way with the skills to lead and manage a diverse team of staff. Ideally you will have experience of managing teams, commissioning and community development within the Health and Social Care sector or a similar environment.

It is optional for the Stroke Support Manager role to be home-based; thehomeworking agreement is available on request.

The role will require travel across the designated area and the wider zone.

Excellent IT skills and a flexible approach to your role, use of your own car and the ability to drive is essential to be able to fulfil the requirements of the Support Manager role.
