The London Clinic is seeking an exceptional individual for the newly created position of Director of Philanthropy. The post-holder will be responsible for creating and implementing a fundraising strategy which will maximise gift income to support the charitable projects of The London Clinic.

Situated in the heart of London’s medical community, The London Clinic is an independent, standalone hospital, offering one of the most comprehensive range of services of any private hospital in the UK. Granted charitable status in 1935, the hospital has been committed to reinvesting its financial surplus to help improve healthcare for patients and the wider healthcare community ever since. 

The London Clinic is currently embarking on an ambitious programme to raise funds to re-invest back into the hospital to benefit patients and their families, as well as the wider medical community. The Director of Philanthropy will be responsible for creating an ambitious fundraising strategy and in time, will recruit and manage a fundraising team as well as establish a Development Board to help the Clinic meet this vision.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in securing seven-figure gifts from individuals, as well as experience of fundraising from trusts and foundations, legacies, exclusive events and will ideally have experience of working within the healthcare sector.
