This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RICS Chartered Surveyor to play a key role in the management of the Land and Property Portfolio held by a social housing provider with 10,500 properties across Shropshire and Herefordshire.

Position: Senior Property Management Surveyor

Location: The location of the post is flexible and the applicant must be prepared to work from home and across offices in Hereford, Craven Arms & Wem.

Duration: Full Time, permanent

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Closing Date: 25th February 2019

Interview Date: 5th March 2019

About the Role of Senior Property Management Surveyor:

The Senior Property Management Surveyor will manage all aspects of commercial business leases held by our client, including rent reviews, negotiating and reviewing leases. They will manage acquisition and disposal of properties identified through their dynamic asset management process. They will deal with all aspects of wayleaves, easements and covenants. They will maintain the Asset Register on the company’s database and GIS system. They will liaise with Land Registry in resolving boundary issues and they will be responsible for maintaining the Group’s tree risk register and riparian responsibilities information. The post-holder will report to the Strategic Asset Manager and will be assisted by and provide RICS mentoring to a Property Management Surveyor.

About You:

The successful Senior Property Management Surveyor will be RICS Qualified with significant relevant post qualification experience. You will have proven experience within a commercial property management department.

You will be a good communicator, with the ability to write logically, concisely and persuasively, as well as being able to develop strong working relationships and communicate effectively with people from all sectors of the community.
