The Prince's Business Emergency Resilience Group (BERG) is BITC's business resilience campaign. The Group is an active network of leading businesses and organisations across the UK which focuses on helping small and medium sized businesses to build resilience to extreme weather, cyber disruption, pandemic and other crisis events affecting the community.

The Role
BITC are looking for a Director to lead their business resilience campaign (BERG) so that BITC can achieve its goal of being the 'go to place' for responsible business. This role will include building and managing key relationships, talking to the media and speaking at events to increase visibility of both BITC and the campaign. The post is required to coordinate and manage BITC's response to UK business disruption. Alongside team management, the candidate will also be responsible for identifying and creating new income streams for the campaign and BITC as a whole. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in helping the UK be more resilient - to prepare, respond and recover from a crisis.
The Person
Engaging directly with some of the most influential people in business, government and charity in support of the overall purpose, the ideal candidate will be an excellent relationship manager with experience of developing strong business partnerships including generating income. Experienced in managing teams this role requires an individual who is engaging and credible at a senior level and who is comfortable with public speaking and acting as an ambassador for both the campaign and BITC.
