Position: PR Officer (South Zone)
Location: London – office based
Job type: Fixed term maternity cover for 12 months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Salary circa £33,299 per annum (including £3,299 inner London weighting)

Reporting to the Media Manager, the PR Officer (South) will lead on the charitys media and PR activities across the South of England.
The PR Officer (South) is responsible for PR in support of fundraising activity, local service delivery, public awareness campaigns and policy issues relevant to the South of England in support of the charity’s corporate objectives.
Working closely with the wider PR team and colleagues in the South Zone, the PR Officer (South) develops, delivers and evaluates proactive and reactive PR activities to engage with key target audiences mainly through the regional and local broadcast, print and online media.
The role will require some travel to locations across the South of England. The use of a car with business use cover and the ability to drive would be desirable to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role.
